How it gets done is people like you join our volunteer team, take on a task, and G.O. do it. Mission Cedar Hill schedules multiple work days through out the year to help Take Care to our Community by Building Unity through Collaboration. When we have just a single work day, like October 13, 2018, we call them Mission Cedar Hill BIG Days. Each June, we have a three day volunteer opportunity we call the Mission Cedar Hill Big Event!
What that means is that we, as individuals, young and old, rich and poor, Black, White, Hispanic, Asian and every race , nationality and creed come together to G.O. and work in our community. Of course, this only builds our labor force. We are still in need of the vast materials that we use on any given work day. We consistently use various wood products like Smart Siding, 1″x 4″, 1″x 6″ and various other trims and facia. We use large amounts of paints and stains. We use garden and lawn equipment, power tools, pick-ups, trailers, and the list goes on and on.
